* Write about one idea of Matthew Arnold which you found interesting and relevant in our times.
I found this idea his great principle of criticism enunciated, it is disinterestedness on the part of the critic implies freedom all prejudices, personal or historical. His view is poetry should be not highly personal, it is right because it is like spontaneous over fall of powerful feeling ,so this view is interesting and relevant in our times because nowadays most of people write poetry but their poetry most of like subjective very few people write objective poem.
I found Touchstone method idea , it is out of date and irrelevant in our times. Because his touchstone method view like comparative criticism and if we compare ancient poetry with modern poem so that modern poetry lost its individual charms. This idea is not appropriate in literature because any work has individual charm without its charm ,it is lost originality.
