Aashram Web series review

After a long time I post this blog. And I am 90 per sure you like to read this blog.

As we know nowadays OTT platform most popular in our society. There are two groups of  in our society one who don't like OTT platform show and they are also against that platform while second group of people support OTT platform and prise that platform. Recently I watched Aashram series on MX player and like most. 

Aashram is a Hindi-language crime drama web series directed by Prakash Jha for MX Player original.It is produced by Prakash Jha under Prakash Jha Productions.The series stars Bobby Deol along with Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Tushar Pandey, Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Vikram Kochhar, Tridha Choudhury, Rajeev Siddhartha, Sachin Shroff, Tanmay Ranjan, Anurita Jha, Parinitaa Seth, Jahangir Khan, Kanupriya Gupta, Preeti Sood and Navdeep Tomar in key roles.It is written by Madhvi Bhatt, Avinash Kumar, Sanjay Masoomm,Tejpal Singh Rawat and Kuldeep Ruhil.

Aashram series is dark humour of society. As  like Aravind Adiga's novel The White Tiger reflection of dark side of India society. Some of line l like most of his book for example- 

" We Hindus have 36,000,000 gods.Making a grand total of 36,000,004 divine arses for me to choose from." 

When I was watching Aashram series I thought we have that many Gods even people want more that's why people produced one by one person as God fingers. For example how can we forget Aasharam, Radhema, Dhabudima and there are lots of person who are God for their followers. So according to me Aashram series is reflection of that person. This director / writer use best flashback technic of narration. Moreover here I have covered in this following points.

Plot highlights- 

Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol) is lead character in the series and Pammi (Aaditi Pohankar) is protagonist characters in this series. Baba Nirala create trap for poor people and political leaders and abuse them as per his self motive so in this chapter Pammi unknowingly implicated by Baba Nirala. At the end she is success to escape form his implicated but she lost her family.😔

Reflection of Poor people condition-

This series is well reflection of poor people condition of Indian society. They have dream but they haven't know right direction for fullfill their dreams therefore Baba type person amused them. In this series Pammi is best example amusement, she is wrestler who belong to poor family from small village. Her family trapped by Baba Nirala then her family controlled by Baba.

Blind bluff game- 

Do you know about this game?

According to me in this series Baba Nirala play blind bluff game with his followers. Because his followers don't know his dark side and obviously if people know reality then they don't called followers. And is not wrong to say "Sometimes people faith become more strong than reality" this same thing happens with Pammi. That's why she becomes victim of Baba Nirala. Ujagar is honest police officer who want to help victim but  when victim don't able to overcome thier faith then anyone can't help them. ( Ujagar name also justification of darkness towards lightness)While Pammi open her eyes and try to overcome her faith then she knows dark reality of Baba. So something people don't aware about reality that's why they become blind bluff game's scapegoat as like Pammi.

Woman empowerment

There are many woman characters in this series but Pammi's role is most probable in this second chapter because she resisted Baba Nirala. She is wrestler therefore she using her skill for escape from Baba's trapped. In the beginning episode she is like helpless girl but at the end she becomes powerful finger of the series. 

Political VS Religious

Most of we are believing politics and religious both are different fields but when I show this web series my myth deconstructed. Because most people have belief we are choosing political leaders and how people brainwashed by someone usually they don't aware. So in this series show properly how religious through one person controlled public mind. Political leaders use religious as weapons and simply win in election.
