Edmund Spenser was one the most famous poet.He was born in 1552, East Smithfield, London.His education completed in Merchant Taylor's school in London.He had completed his graduation and post graduation from Cambridge at that time he mat Gabriel Harvey.Then they became good friend. *His notable works 1)The shepheardes calendar 2)The Faerie Queen 3)Amoretti 4)Epithalamion 5)Astrophel Here I discuss two work: 1)The Shepheardes calendar :- This was Spenser 's first major poetic work.It was published in 1579.This was a poetic work that consisted of 12 books.The shepheardes in each story are believe to depict people from Spenser's life including himself. 2) Faerie Queen. :- This poem was one of the most recognized of Spenser.It was published in 1590.It is an English epic poem. It is totally divine in six book.The Faerie Queen 's characters were represent the various virtues.
